I can’t believe or think that the Rev. Dr Patrick Sookhdev is no more.
I may have met him 3-4 times. Once in Bangalore Rev. Dr Vinay Samuel had arranged a meeting with him to listen to his talk on Islam. Before his talk there was a personal time with him. When he came to know about my Muslim background he showed more interest in me and asked me to be touch with him and gave his card.
To me he was a brilliant mission thinker and a remarkable servant of God who accomplished so much for Mission in many parts of the world. His significant work and contribution in Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India will be remembered for many years to come. His passing is indeed a great loss to the world mission.
A big salute to him for his tremendous achievements and lifelong contribution to the mission of God. I hold on to the blessed hope that we will meet him again someday.
