Patrick Sookhdeo would be one of the most singularly directed and calculated minds I have known. And the object of his mind was the care and help of persecuted brothers and sisters in the family of God and Body of our Lord. And that in the extension of the true Kingdom.
With his devoted and stalwart Rosemary, the committed work of Ms Kerslake and a vast surrounding team of loyal supporters an amazing amount was achieved with a solid platform for growth and extension into the future.
Patrick and the Founders team which visited Australia over many years was always warmly welcomed, eagerly awaited and very well attended with full venues. People were informed by Patrick with detailed knowledge of political movements affecting Christians in relevant parts of the world ignored by secular media. Projects large and micro were discovered, evaluated and effectively supported amongst our suffering family.
Many of Patrick’s and Rosemary’s books are as relevant, if not more so in some cases as when they were first published.
My wife and I enjoyed and benefitted at a level of friendship with Patrick.
